Instructions:

1. Preparation: Start by shucking the corn removing the husks and silk. Rinse the corn under cold water to remove any remaining silk strands.

2. Butter Bath: Place each ear of corn on a piece of aluminum foil. Generously spread butter over each cob, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Sprinkle with salt and any additional seasonings of your choice.

3. Wrap & Seal: Wrap each ear of corn tightly in the aluminum foil, ensuring there are no gaps for the butter to escape. Seal the foil packets securely.

4. Grilling: Spread out your fire to create coals, and place the foil-wrapped corn directly onto them. Use tongs to position them evenly. Rotate the corn occasionally to ensure even cooking.

5. Cooking Time: Depending on the heat of your campfire, the corn will take approximately 10-15 minutes to cook. You’ll know it’s ready when the kernels are tender and slightly charred.

6. Unwrapping: Carefully remove the foil packets from the fire using tongs. Allow them to cool for a minute or two before unwrapping.

7. Serve & Enjoy: Unwrap each corn cob and serve hot with additional butter or toppings if desired. The smoky flavor from the campfire will infuse the corn, creating a delectable outdoor dining experience.
